Gemini receives CES 2018 Innovation Award

Planet Computers Gemini device has received a CES 2018 Innovation Award in the Wireless Handsets and Accessories category.

Planet Computers exhibited the dual boot Android/Linux PDA with a full QWERTY keyboard, at the International CES in Las Vegas as part of the official UK delegation. CES marked the official launch of the Gemini.

Dr Janko Mrsic-Flogel, CEO of Planet Computers, comments: “Having been named a CES 2018 Innovation Award Honoree, it is appropriate that we launch Gemini at CES and it is particularly relevant to be part of the UK delegation at the event as Planet Computers is a UK company and Gemini was conceived and designed in the UK.”

Gemini was one of the most popular Indiegogo projects of 2017 and has been well received by the technology enthusiats and journalists alike.

Trusted Reviews called Gemini: “a retro Android and Linux delight” while the The Register said: "The Psion returns! Meet Gemini, the 21st century pocket computer".

Planet Computers has received fantastic support from the backer community as well. A Facebook fanpage has been created and it is playing host to much discussion about the Gemini and its day-to-day use.
